After nearly six years as the leader of Clean Heart for Men at Christ Church, Scott Gray will soon begin a Clean Heart for Men in Medina, Ohio.  Scott along with his wife, Lisa, have answered a call to plant a church where they live in Medina.  Scott and Lisa met with their pastor in August 2012 to share their hearts about planting a church and he provided his blessing.

Though this church plant is only in what is referred as the “prenatal” stage, God has been bringing others along side of them to be a part of the birth of 10 Towns Church.  The new church name comes from a desire to have an original name and a name with deep meaning.  10 Towns comes from a story found in Mark 5:1-20, which serves as a core value of this church plant.

In this story a man who was ostracized from society due to his issues was made whole by Jesus.  Jesus told the man to go home and tell his family what He had done for him.  So the man went to the “ten towns” of his region telling people what Jesus did for him.  The desire is that people will have a real encounter with Jesus and tell others about what Jesus did in their hearts, lives, marriages, business, etc.  So others will also encounter the Son of God and be made whole.

The ministry of Clean Heart for Men is dear to Scott’s heart and he will soon begin a meeting in Medina.  The start date for the Medina group has yet to be set, but will be announced on the Clean Heart website.
